EducationJohn earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2019. He graduated from The University of Iowa in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Minor in Political Science.

John J. Miceli
John Miceli is litigation associate who focuses his practice on the defense of commercial, construction, premises liability, and transportation claims. Mr. Miceli has exceptional research, writing, and communication skills which allow him to present clear and concise arguments for his clients. His attention to detail and strategic approach to complex matters provides his clients a distinct advantage.
Prior to joining Lipe Lyons Murphy Nahrstadt & Pontikis Ltd., Mr. Miceli was an Extern for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) developing and pursuing enforcement actions against FINRA member firms and members. Mr. Miceli was also a law clerk at a Chicago-based law firm representing and defending firms and individuals subject to investigation and disciplinary proceedings by the SEC, FINRA, CME and other financial regulators.
Mr. Miceli is a member of the Justinian Society of Lawyers and the Chicago Bar Association. At Loyola University Chicago School of Law he was a Student Clinician at the LUC Business Law Clinic where he represented small businesses and not-for-profit organizations. Mr. Miceli also served as the Vice President of the Justinian Society of Lawyers and as a member of the LUC Business Law Society. At Loyola, Mr. Miceli was named to the Dean's List in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
