Ms. Israel earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2020. She was the recipient of the Ellen Daar Kerschner Memorial Scholarship. She graduated from Saint Louis University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and a Minor in Forensics. Her senior thesis on Mental health and the American Criminal Justice System received the Senior Legacy Symposium Award in 2015.Admissions

Ms. Israel is an associate who focuses her practice on the defense of commercial, construction, premises liability, product liability, and transportation claims.
Prior to joining Lipe Lyons, Rebecca worked as an associate at a boutique plaintiff’s firm where she gained extensive experience litigating personal injury claims. She also has experience at boutique intellectual property firms assisting in patent prosecution and litigation.During law school, she gained valuable court experience through her extern position with the Cook County States Attorneys’ Office and Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court.
Ms. Israel is also a Co-Chair of the Legislative and Amicus Committees of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois, and a current issue editor for the ABA Magazine Landslide.
