Julianna T. Long

As a Senior Associate with Lipe Lyons, Ms. Long represents insurance companies and their insureds in state and federal courts in a wide range of civil litigation matters. Her practice focuses on defending claims involving personal injury, product liability, catastrophic loss, health and human services, construction injuries, and commercial litigation. Since joining Lipe Lyons, Ms. Long has successfully defended clients through all stages of litigation, including written discovery, depositions, motion practice, and pretrial proceedings. Ms. Long has significant experience taking and defending depositions, as well as drafting and arguing dispositive and non-dispositive motions on behalf of her clients.   Ms. Long also has experience assisting with trial preparation and serving as second chair at trial, where she has supported case strategy, witness preparation, and courtroom presentation. In addition, she has helped resolve numerous matters through mediation and settlement conferences, working to achieve efficient and favorable outcomes for her clients. Prior to joining Lipe Lyons, Ms. Long worked as an attorney at a Chicago law firm where she gained experience in civil litigation. She drafted responsive pleadings, dispositive motions, and appellate briefs. She assisted in trial preparation, including drafting motions in limine, jury instructions and witness preparation. She also participated in alternative dispute resolutions, including arbitrations and mediations.
