Drew graduated from University of Illinois College of Law in 2020. He was Vice President of the American Constitution Society, Secretary of the Criminal Law Society and a Trial Team Member.Drew graduated from Illinois State University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in History. While at ISU, he was on the Executive Board for Habitat for Humanity and the Students Ending Mental Illness Stigmas.
